Whatever created the music video for the song "Spaceship" by Qing-Feng Wu, an A-list singer-songwriter in Asia. The worldview of the song revolved around the game as not only the music is inspired by a retro 8-bit video game, but also the lyrics mention "Might as well say it's like a card game / you've got to play / life calls all the shots."

The music video is composed of a combination of live-action and animation to relay the message of the song. Per Qing-Feng's request, the animal illustrations are drawn by the children's book artist Hiroshi Abe. The music video is directed by Masashi Kawamura and shot in Sanzhi, Taiwan.
